Submit a formal complaint regarding notarial services
Anyone who believes they have been harmed by the professional conduct of a notary public in British Columbia may file a complaint with the Society of Notaries Public of BC. Our online complaint system allows you to submit your concerns regarding notarial services. You'll be able to identify the notary member(s) involved, describe the circumstances in detail, and upload supporting documentation. The Society will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and will inform you of the outcome following our investigation process.
Provide Complaint Details

Upload Evidence
Provide supporting documentation such as receipts, correspondence, notarial documents, or any other evidence you wish the Society to consider.
Review & Submit
Review all information for accuracy and completeness before submitting your complaint. The Society will notify you when your complaint is received and will inform you of the outcome.
